Our inmate-students finally got to exhibit their paintings yesterday at the Maximum Security Prison’s Social Hall. We were so thrilled we got to ‘hang out’ a few feet outside the control gate. Then when the exhibit’s over, they go back in (single file) back through the gates.
Meanwhile, news broke out today that Gov Leviste, also an inmate, can go in and out of prison w/o authorization.
